Do we have gifts that we aren't even accessing? You better believe it! In part one of this week's message Lindsey talks about the main culprit for blocking access. In the second part of this video, Lindsey shares a newly discovered gift she is learning to understand and use as well as examples of how the Spirit speaks to us on a daily basis through our gifts.
Mosiah 18:9 - Yea, and are willing to mourn with those that mourn; yea, and comfort those that stand in need of comfort, and to stand as a witnesses of God at all times and in all things, and in all places that ye may be in, even until death, that ye may be redeemed of God, and be numbered with those of the first resurrection that ye may have eternal life

This post right here is FOR SURE one of the reasons I stumbled upon your blog! Come to think of it, I don't even know how I came across your blog... Anyway, this video has shed a huge amount of light on an experience I had over a year ago. I have this neighbor friend who was a day away from delivering her baby. She was supposed to go in at 9am to deliver. I sent her a quick text the night before telling her good luck, I was praying for her and to keep me posted. I went to bed that night and had a dream that she called me in the middle of the night because she had gone into labor and she wasn't sure if she should wait until her appointment to go in. I told her in my dream to go to the hospital. Well, at about 10am the next morning, I sent another text to this friend asking how everything was going. She text me back a picture of her sweet baby telling me she was born early that morning. She went on to explain that she had gone into labor in the middle of the night. I responded, "No way!" and went on to tell her about my dream. Her response was that that was so crazy because when she knew she was in labor she and her husband debated for a long while about whether they should go in or wait until their appointment. So crazy! I had never experienced anything like that before and I struggled to make sense of it so I kind of chalked it up to just a cool experience that I didn't quite understand. Today, I was prompted to look at your blog. I did and there were no new posts so I almost clicked out of your page. The spirit told me to scroll through past posts and He'd let me know which one I needed to read. I came upon this one and it's EXACTLY what I needed! So, thank you for sharing your experiences. My testimony that the Lord truly knows us, loves us, and is always trying to communicate with us has been strengthened and as a bonus, I've discovered a gift that I need to fine tune.
