Missionary Miracle Testimony

This was posted in a facebook group and then almost 24 hours later, the link to the original source was no longer working and the story had disappeared. It was thought that the elder who wrote it was asked to take it down as the nature of it is very personal and the sister missionaries are known to the public through the news story. I was able to find the story here in a reddit post and have pasted it below. It's the exact story I read before the link was taken down. Here is a link to the news story as well. This story was published on KSL a couple of weeks ago.

********

Hey everyone!

For those of you who don't know, and even for those of you that do know, I'd like to talk about the Sisters that got stabbed in my mission.

They are my friends. I was in training with one of them in my first area for about 5 months. I know her very, very well, and this has been soooo hard. Just hard. I cannot express the pain this has brought me, other missionaries, and both of those sisters and their families. It sounds so foreign and distant until it happens to a friend. Or a brother. Or a sister. Or a daughter.

It's very, very real now.

I'll say what I know though, for the express reason that it has built my faith completely, and my faith in the savior has only increased because of this trial.

So the Sisters were stabbed in the middle of the night by an invader inside their apartment. The man came in at 4AM, removing his shoes to be quieter, and grabbed a knife out of their kitchen. Then he walked into their bedroom and started stabbing both sisters.

Both sisters had to go to the hospital, because each was stabbed multiple times, and were in the ICU for about a week, and now both are returning home from their missions to heal where they may or may not return to missionary service.

Now let me talk about some of the miracles involved though...

First, neither sister was stabbed anywhere their garments covered. It was not touched.

One sister did have her garment shirt roll up in the night, and she was stabbed in her side.

Second, after their parents were notified, their fathers were there 3 hours after the stabbing.

Third, the sister that got stabbed in her side was stabbed in her hands and her feet as well. One hand was stabbed completely through to the other side...

In a very, very literal way, she now has wounds in her hands, feet and side to match the Savior's.

The same sister shared her testimony about how she now feels closer to her savior than ever before. She feels like she was given this so she could more fully witness of the suffering the savior had to go through for each of us. She told us all that she had completely forgiven her attacker, and she was grateful for the miracle that both Sister's had been given.

Her wound in her side was really bad, but she shared with us that in her setting apart blessing she was blessed that if she was obedient and kept the commandments, she would be safe, and even the "very organs of her body would be kept safe." She told us that if the knife in her side had turned one way or the other in any direction, she would have bled to death and they wouldn't have been able to save her.

Fourth, when the Sisters were being attacked, they tried to fight back against him, and they prayed. Both sisters remembered praying, but the Hermana that I was friends with recalled saying a prayer, and as soon as she finished, she made eye contact with her attacker and said, "Stop right now and leave this apartment."

After she said that, the attacker dropped the knife, turned around, and walked out of the apartment.

I witness that the power of the ministering of angels is real, and the priesthood power is just as accessible by women acting in faith and righteousness as it is to any worthy man that holds that priesthood.

Fifth, when our mission president heard that the Sisters were in the hospital, he knew he needed to get there as soon as he possibly could. He called a STL in their apartment complex and asked her to talk with the police and find out which hospital they were admitted to.

But since time was of the essence, he and his wife prayed together, got in the car picked a direction and started driving. Not knowing beforehand where they needed to go.

When they got the address to the hospital, they were only two minutes away.

Brothers and Sisters, I know that these things could only have happened by the power of God. There is no other possible explanation. And I'm so glad to be in a place where I can witness these things and bring them to you.

I testify to each of you that the Lord will make good on his promise, and he will always "consecrate thine afflictions for thy good." (2 Nephi 2:2)

I know that it does not matter where you are and it does not matter who you are. It does not matter what the circumstance is. It does not matter if you think you have fallen out of the reach of God (because you haven't). It does not matter if you think that miracles only come sometimes and God is more subtle than bold and real. It does not matter if you think God is punishing you for some misdeed.

It. Does. Not. Matter

I promise you, that God will act boldly, and he does. God has said, "Behold, I am God. And I am a God of Miracles, and I will show unto the world that I am the same yesterday, today and forever. And I work not among the children of men, save it be according to their faith." (2 Nephi 27:33)

If you think miracles won't come, then they won't. If you say, "well that's a cool story, but it doesn't always happen like that," then it definitely won't to you.

There's a reason Jesus could not do miracles in Nazareth.

I know God is real, and he will bring us unto him, and no matter who you are. He will protect you, he will love you, and you will always be safe from harm, as long as you faithfully look to him to rescue you.

In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We Wrestle Not With Flesh and Blood...

This might be the longest one yet! I had a lot of challenges in getting it published. My laptop just wouldn't allow the video to upload to YouTube. It's quite a bit, but hope there's something that speaks to you all. ❤️

Woman Gets Abducted and Converts Serial Killer to Jesus!

A friend reached out to me and suggested I listen to this video. She said the women in the video reminds her of me. So I took a listen today while I was on a walk and I LOVED it!! I think you will too!

This is the kind of missionary work that changes lives.

Word of Wisdom and Are We Ready?

Word of Wisdom, virtue, power, prophecy, healing....just some of the topics in this week's video message. ❤️

"If God Can Do it - Let's Do it!"

I love this man's story and testimony. It's a reminder that with faith and prayer we can call upon the Lord to send His Resurrection power to restore life! In this 11th hour we are living in, it has been prophesied to be a time of great miracles! With every manifested miracle, faith grows and Satan loses power. Yes, he is terrified of what God is doing right now. He is terrified of you and I.

Shifting Your Paradigm!

As I was short on time (though it was a long video) with this week's livestream, I left out a few things that I had wanted to share in this video message. So, I thought I would share them here in a blog post.

First off, YouTube has again disabled my comments - as soon as this video was finished live-streaming. That tells me that certain words will tag a video and and put an instant block on the comments. This video was all about unity among Christians in America. I have been emailing back and forth with YouTube over the past few weeks about this issue and the customer service reps who have been handling my case, say they are confused as to why this is happening to me. They agree that my channel is not breaking any rules or at risk in any way, however they aren't getting answers from the people at the top, so we are just waiting it out. It's the comment section that allows us to connect and have conversations about these important topics. The Adversary does not want us having these conversations. He wants to silence our voices. Please keep my videos and channel in your prayers!

Because I was rushed, I skipped over some important things in my video notes. The first thing I skipped over was the attack in New Zealand. I had shared in some of our groups, that when news first broke, immediately I heard in my mind, "Attacks on Christ's Church are coming!" A friend of mine messaged me shortly after and said that he felt that some kind of retaliation would be coming for Christian churches. I agreed.

The following morning when I woke up, the latest headlines reported that two Latter-day Saint meeting houses has been set on fire in Christ Church, New Zealand.  I felt it was a confirmation and a witness that attacks are certainly coming for Christ's Church.

That same day, I saw that there had also been attacks on Israel and so Israel had struck back. There on the news post was that number attention grabbing number of mine, 113. I heard "pay attention". I happened to take a screen shot of this post at 11:30 - of course!

In the video, I had mentioned a couple of images that didn't show up in my program as I was recording. I described them but decided to share them here as well.

The first is the screenshot of the restaurant we were searching. 113 was all over the screen. Right after I took this screenshot, we saw the the license plate in front of us had 113 on it, and I showed that in the video.

I had showed a screenshot of an ad for a workout ball with the number 311 on it. I realized after the livestream, that in the moment I had taken that screenshot, I had been worried about something and pondering over it. The word "workout" was for me. The Lord was near letting me know that everything was going to "workout" and not to worry.

Later there was some posts about attackers and pedophiles (wolves in sheep's clothing) being brought into the light and their masks pulled off. This post had 144 and 11 on it. Over the last few weeks there have been a lot of people close to my age and younger who have been whistleblowing their childhood sexual abusers and bringing it into the light. Some I have not met, but their stories have been all over the media. Others live in my community and I do know them. Many have been coming into my life and opening up to me about it. I feel that this is part of prep work for the 144,000. They must be healed and they must be made whole, so the Lord can use them. It is so important!

Lastly, is the image that I mentioned about the solar storm. At the very bottom it mentions 333 and 11 manifesting. Isn't it interesting that this took place the week that I took all these screenshots and experienced all that craziness? But truth be told, I see these numbers all the time. I have been seeing them for about the last 2-3 years now. Maybe there has been an increase of solar activity happening during that duration. Either way, I'm paying attention.

Yesterday was the Super Worm moon and I must say it was a wonderful day! I decided to ignore my phone until about 4:00 pm. Every call, message, text and email that came through - I paid it no attention. Instead, I spent time serving a neighbor, talking with the Lord, and sitting out in the sunshine with my toes in the grass. I cleaned my home, and made some delicious and healthy treats for my kids. When they got home from school we played outside together and enjoyed the treats. It was such a wonderful day!

I learned that the worm moon represents the earthworms that come up during the spring equinox. Funny thing, this morning as we woke up to rain, I went outside and noticed earthworms all over the driveway and sidewalk. I smiled.

Earthworms happen to symbolize digging deep in our subconscious mind and unearthing hidden memories, feelings, or desires and bringing them to the surface. These things can be beneficial for our growth, healing, and development. It represents a time of renewal and restoration. Being restored back to wholeness!

How fitting for what I just shared, right? And how fitting for spring time.

Something I wanted to clarify since I can't leave comments on my videos, is about the analogy I had made about "what if everyone is right?" and the Big Bang Theory. I mentioned that maybe the Lord banged some things together to create our universe. What I meant by that is maybe speaking the beginning into existence resulted in an explosion. The elements responded to His word and reacted, and things began to form and take their proper place. He did everything through His word. Just wanted to add that.

When speaking about my Missouri experience, I mentioned in the video that things began to open up inside of me and little downloads of knowledge would go into my mind about each person I prayed for, so I knew exactly what to say. This happened all night on the first day, and we witnessed some incredible things!  I forgot to mention that the following morning Pastor Steve approached me with a twinkle in his eye and asked, "Had you ever done that before?" I replied, "No." and he chuckled and said, "I didn't think so." It was a witness for He and I that the Lord did something awesome that night, and it was something new.

I shared a little bit about Marilyn and her husband and their awesome stories. They were hosting me in their home. I forgot to mention something neat that they shared. They belong to a break-off of the Community of Christ Church (RLDS). Marilyn had explained to me that many changes had taken place in their church since 1844 (when Brigham Young went west with the saints, and Joseph Smith's wife, mother, and children along with many others stayed behind). Those who stayed behind continued practicing their beliefs, doctrine, priesthood etc., and supported Jospeh Smith III to be the prophet's legitimate successor.

With each change over the years, many people split off from the Reformed Latter-day Saint church forming new churches or a branches each time. In 1984 the first monumental change was announced which was the announcement of ordaining women to the priesthood. About half of the members left the church when this change occurred.

Marilyn said in 2013, the church began to ordain gay marriages. After that many more members left. She mentioned that now there is some kind of scuttle going on with how the church's finances have been handled and it might be the final straw that causes everything to crumble. Because of all of these changes, there are now many different smaller groups and churches who meet together. She said numbers have been dwindling in her small church as well. If I remember correctly she said they have 40 + members but only half come to church.

Despite all of the drama of their past, Marilyn and her husband have been faithful to their beliefs and continue worshiping the Lord daily. She is the lady that prayed over a missing thumb and watched it grow back. Her husband is the patriarch of their church and while I was there he had been preparing and fasting to give a patriarchal blessing that coming Sunday. He had mentioned he was nervous because the sweet sister requesting the blessing was Catholic! He was looking forward to giving the blessing but nervous at the same time.

He shared an incredible story about a debilitating depression that he was healed from three years ago. It was so bad, that he was admitted to a rehab facility and from there, experienced a downward spiral. Marilyn felt that if she didn't intervene her husband would soon die in that facility. She did all that she could and exercised faith and prayer and through a dangerous mistake that the staff made that almost cost her husband's life, they were able to bring him home. It was a bitter-sweet mercy from the Lord.

Since that day Marilyn has helped her husband heal. He expressed how much he enjoys serving the people in their church. He takes his priesthood duties very seriously and carries around a bottle of anointing oil at all times. He is such a kind, gentle, and caring man and he and Marilyn have incredible faith! They walk in miracles daily, and experience wonderful manifestations of the Lord's presence.

These are just some of the stories I learned about the many people I got to meet that weekend in Missouri. They all have different backgrounds, different stories, and operate in different spiritual gifts, but their faith and love for the Lord is all the same! Each of them is so eager to serve and bless all of God's children and I was so humbled when many of them offered to pray over and bless me in their different and unique ways. Some used oil, some spoke in tongues, some laid hands, some raised their hands heavenward - but all were united in faith and belief that the Lord was there and He was listening and answering!

It truly was an incredible weekend and I was so honored and humbled to be a part of it all. ❤️We are trying to raise funds so we can plan the next event and hopefully come to your city. Here is a link to our GoFundMe campaign - please support us and share!

Most Powerful Testimony!

I shared this video with family last Sunday as part of our home church lesson. The lesson was about becoming born again. I explained to them that sometimes even after we learn of Jesus Christ our Savior, who He is, what He has done for us, and we are baptized, it still can take many years before we have that true born again conversion - what Alma refers to as the "mighty change of heart".

This man had the true born again conversion the first time he learned of Jesus Christ and prayed to know Him. Even 20 years after the matter, his spirit is still on fire for Jesus. I love his story!

John 3:5,16

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Yes, You Can Meet the Savior Before He Returns - No NDE Required!

One thing I must express gratitude for, is the opportunity I have to share all the amazing videos, books, teachers, and links I come across here on my blog and in my Happy Lady videos with all of you. Not only are the blog and YouTube channel, tools where I can share what I've been discovering but also a great source for all of you (my friends and subscribers) to share what you have been discovering. There are so many of you who are so kind to share in private emails and messages your sacred experiences, testimonies, suggested reads, materials & teachers, and I love returning the favor in my videos and blogposts. Links are always provided in the video description of each of my videos to a wealth of resources. I'm amazed at how many messages come through each day from all of you, and humbled by what you share.

A friend of mine and follower of the blog, referred me to this video yesterday. I must say how grateful I am to have been able to watch this. It's so refreshing to know that there are more LDS people out there who are on the same page as me. This is the message I have been feeling so strong lately, and conveying in my video messages here a little and there a little - and so you can imagine how excited I was to discover all of it one video presentation. Adam Miller sums it up so well - better than I can. This is exactly how I feel! We can meet the Savior in the flesh before He returns to the earth as prophesied. We can meet Him often, and there is no Near Death Experience required! We can and should be seeking this kind of relationship with Him. This is His will for us - all of us.

If you don't have time to watch the entire video, go to 41:08 and you will hear Adam confirm (in his own words) that he has had what I believe to be a Second Comforter experience. To hear someone speak so boldly and beautifully about a topic that has always been "hushed" over the years, and to hear them speak it at BYU and see that it was so well received, just had me doing a happy dance!

"Be One" Celebration - Did You Feel it Too?

Something happened to me while I was watching this beautiful celebration. Let's just say my spirit bumps and ugly cry came on in full force! That doesn't happen too often 😄.This celebration and the music had more meaning to me than I could ever put into words, and it was incredibly therapeutic. It sums up about everything I expressed in my last video message. If you haven't watched this yet - you are surely missing out.

My Big Announcement!

I have an exciting announcement to share, and did you know that singing could manifest miracles? Also, what message is the Lord showing us in the stars (think celebrity "stars")? Watch to find out.

An Incredible Story That No One is Talking About!

In a recent video message I had referenced the incredible story of Drew Graham, an LDS man who testifies that he was healed of homosexuality. He is now happily married to a beautiful woman who is the love of his life and he is also a proud father. I had attended a presentation by his parents Stephen and Janice Graham at the Book of Mormon conference back in April, and at the time I wasn't sure why I felt prompted to attend their presentation among all the other speakers and topics competing for that same hour. However, since sharing their very unique story on my YouTube channel, I now know why I was prompted to attend. The many messages and emails that have since poured in, are an amazing witness that this story needs to be told.

My decision to share began with this response I offered on facebook to a woman in a private facebook group who was struggling with she and her husband's differing views and opinions in relation to teaching their children about homosexuality. She had a liberal approach and he was very conservative. She felt their differences were tearing apart their marriage. I offered the following response:

"I don’t have advice nor do I want to share an opinion. But I do feel prompted to share this experience:

I was awakened very early this morning and prompted to get on Facebook. I was so tired that I fought it for 15 minutes. Finally I got up and went onto Facebook. The very first post in my feed was this post. I felt I needed to share a recent experience I had but again I fought it. I then flipped open my scriptures and they landed on page 185 in D&C. The very first verse I read was D&C 95:1. What a powerful confirmation! I knew then that I needed to share. So, here goes:

I attended a conference last weekend in which I heard a presentation given by the parents of an LDS man who was gay for about 18 years and is now straight and has a wife and children. His story is very unique as you seldom hear this perspective and therefore his stance is very unpopular, but he’s okay with that. This man named Drew Graham, wrote a book and speaks on this topic. His stance and his parent’s stance on the issue are so different from what the Church teaches and from what society teaches that they feel ostracized by both.

He was raised by parents who both have views like your husband and his mother is from San Francisco and was raised in a very liberal environment.

He says he was born a very sensitive and feminine boy, who played with dolls and loved the arts and that part of him has never changed. His parents were loving and supportive but also taught him that lust was a sin (Matt 5:28), sexual impurity was a sin, and the gay lifestyle was against God’s will for His children.

Because of his feminine nature and character, he was teased often by masculine boys who told him he was gay. After hearing this his whole life he believed it must be true and accepted it, even at an age when he was too young to be interested in sexuality. This led him to question his masculinity which led him to look at images of masculine men online to see what society deemed a “real man” should look like. This led to looking at male porn which he justified as okay since he was a man himself and had the same body parts. This led to a porn addiction that lasted for several years.

While attending BYU he was preyed upon by gay temple endowed LDS men who had wives and children and hid their sexual infidelity. They preyed upon him in chat rooms and met him at locations to carry out their desires. Truthfully he was abused, but he allowed it. He said because he was young, curious, and exploring, he was extremely vulnerable and bombarded by gay men who were turned on by his vulnerability. He said that during the entire 18 years of struggle with this, he felt this world and lifestyle and everyone in it was fueled by sex addiction, abuse, lies, and darkness. Even after coming out of the closet and turning down his mission call he never felt pure love or light. He felt deep down that this was not what God wanted for him. He felt God wanted him to live a life that was clean, pure, true, and in which he could enter all of Gods highest covenants and receive those ordinances and blessings. God wanted him to have a healthy sexual relationship and not remain celibate his entire life. God wanted him to have posterity. God wanted him to experience the fullness of joy. He didn’t feel right about engaging in the gay lifestyle (what society teaches and pushes) and he also didn’t feel right about remaining abstinent the rest of his life (what the church teaches, if you’re gay just don’t ever act on it and you’ll be fine). He felt there should be another approach. He wanted to marry and have his own children. And he wanted all the blessings of the temple. He realized that he wanted to be delivered from a lifestyle that he felt was not what God wanted for Him. He felt that for him, being gay resulted from lies that were fed to him from society through the internet and social media coupled with a porn addiction that in return fed the lies. He felt that during these 18 years of being gay, he never was truly happy, he always felt impure and never experienced true love.

He realized one day that the Savior could save him from a lifestyle and desire he longer wanted. He had never thought to call upon his Savior before to be delivered from this attraction, desire, addiction, and lifestyle because this teaching is offensive to many, its seldom taught. He had always heard and been taught to call on the Savior to be able to endure it (be gay but never act on it) but not be completely delivered from it. So he called upon Jesus Christ like he never had before, and over a period of time he was what he called “healed”.

He served a mission later in life and was glad to have not used a mission to hide, distract from, or “take care” of the issue. He was glad he took care of it before choosing a mission. He actually became attracted to women and after his mission married a beautiful wife in the temple and now has children. He said he never knew he could be this happy and have a healthy sexual life that fills him with such joy and light! He never knew he could be so in love with someone as he really had never felt true love before. Being “healed” didn’t turn him more masculine, but he felt that society’s idea of what a “real man” should be is false. He never knew that he could be sensitive, love art, and still be attracted to and in love with a woman. He had been taught by society that because of who and how he was, he should be attracted to men. He felt pushed in that direction. In the end he learned it was not what he really wanted but he never knew that until he called upon the Savior.

As you can see his stance and belief is in contrast with what society teaches and what the church teaches which is why no bookstores will carry his book, and no one will allow him to speak. He is very unpopular for his beliefs and story but he is so happy that he doesn’t care if sharing it will help someone else find the same happiness that he has.

Looking back he says he wished his parents would have been even more vocal about expressing their views. He wished they would have interfered more. He feels that parents who massage the issue to be in line with society, do more damage. He believes it is a black and white issue as well as a spiritual warfare issue.

I saw his YouTube video testimony at the conference but have not been able to find it myself on YouTube. YouTube has made it nearly impossible to find the video without a direct link. I was able to find it another way, here it is. His testimony begins at 10:24 into the video. I also included a link to an interview with his parents."

The first few comments that came in were very positive and filled with gratitude and thanks for sharing this man's story. Then shortly later, a couple of negative comments came through; LDS women who felt that by me sharing this man's story, I was doing more harm than good for people in the gay community. Their fear filled worries and words, were a plea for me to never share this information again. It was very upsetting to them. Here was my response;

"They were told by Sheri Dew at Deseret Book that the reason Deseret Book was cancelling their book deal was because it was decided that their book goes against the approach that the church teaches and encourages (The Church teaches that same-sex attraction is fine as long as you don't ever act on it. The Graham's encourage complete healing and wholeness through Jesus Christ, so that one can marry, have a family, make all the covenants in the temple, and experience joy! This is seen as politically incorrect as it suggests that being gay is something to be healed of.)

His story is unique but it might resonate with someone out there who is on the same page or feels very similar. I feel as we overcome challenges, God uses us as instruments to share hope. We shouldn't be afraid to share our experiences, miracles, and blessings, but trust those promptings as the Lord leads us to share. I know his story has helped so many and he has felt guided to share it only when asked. I just know I was prompted to share. ❤️"

Here are three videos that share unique perspectives and approaches that you won't hear very often. Since sharing this, many have come forward in anonymous emails letting me know that this approach worked for them and their loved ones as well.

The first video features Drew sharing his story at 10:20 into the video. The entire video is worth watching as it shares many other unique stories and perspectives on the same topic. The second video features his parents sharing their perspective at the same conference (at 16:28). The third video is an up-close and personal interview with his parents. I felt the importance of sharing their story here on my blog. I hope that their message resonates with someone out there, and is a blessing!

Baptist Minister Preaches from the Book of Mormon? Here's A Movement You Need to Know About!

Recently, I had mentioned on my YouTube channel an amazing movement that everyone needs to know about. Founded by Missouri Baptist Minister Lynn Ridenhour, who preaches support of and belief in the Book of Mormon; this ministry is called Building Bridges Ministry.

Yes, Lynn preaches from the Book of Mormon every Sunday over the pulpit of his church, and in addition to that he holds conferences and meetings in which he invites members of several denominations (LDS, RLDS, Community of Christ, Lutheran, Catholic, Baptist, etc.) to come together and share what's on their hearts as they worship together and praise the Lord. In my mind, this paints a picture of how Zion will be during the Millennium - people of diverse Christian faiths and beliefs all living together in peace and harmony, serving the Lord. The sooner we can usher in this brotherhood/sisterhood uniting in Christ, I believe the sooner we prepare the earth for our Savior's return.

I first met Lynn at a Book of Mormon Conference last month here in Layton, Utah. Having never heard of him before and not sure what his presentation was about, I felt prompted to attend and was so glad that I did! What an incredible man on an incredible mission!

Lynn is passionate about building bridges between what he terms "Book of Mormon Believers" and "Bible Believers". Yes, those who believe in the Book of Mormon also believe in and read the Bible (just so there's no confusion), but this term refers to us Bible Believers who also believe in the Book of Mormon! Over the years, Lynn's ministry has resonated with so many Latter-day Saints including our beloved prophet Gordon B. Hinckley who while President of the Church, once invited Lynn to dinner to personally meet him and thank him for his genuine message to the members of the LDS church. Upon meeting Lynn, President Hinckley said, "We've never had a Baptist preacher come to our town and ask for our forgiveness."

The reason I am thrilled beyond words about Lynn's message and ministry is because a few years ago I was searching for something like this. One day while on the phone with my sister, I expressed to her that I believed a day would soon come when these two groups would come together and be powerful for the Lord. I truly believed that there was much we could learn from our Christian brothers and sisters and also that there was much we could share with them. I truly believed that we could have these conversations without offense or contention. That we would realize we actually have more in common than we do differences.

Many of the things that the Spirit has been teaching me over the past few years are common place among Pentecostal and Charismatic Christians - as well as common place among the early Saints of the Church. For a while, I felt that I couldn't share many of these things that I was learning with my fellow LDS friends because they wouldn't understand or would not be ready to hear, but truly felt that I wouldn't have to because someday in the near future, our two groups would come together and teach each other!

Some of these priceless gems I have learned over the years are:
  • How to improve my prayer closet
  • How to improve my prayers
  • How to strengthen my faith in healing and miracles
  • Spiritual warefare
  • The power of praise
  • And the truth about Halloween

Truly, I feel that the Lord often uses my blog and YouTube channel as a platform to give a voice to His other children whom He is using as instruments in His hands. I am happy to share their messages and help hasten the Lord's work. He is doing a work among all of His children, not just through the members of the LDS church. Whoever is willing, He will use for His wise purposes - purposes that we are often slow to understand and comprehend.

This post needs to be shared with everyone. It's so important for us to help build these bridges between our different Christian communities. There are so many creative ways we can do this! For example, my sister has shared with me that her ward Relief Society has arranged an interfaith worship night once a month. One night each month, many sisters from various Christian denominations come together and celebrate the Lord. A different church hosts each month. They've been doing this for a few months now and it has been amazing! My sister shared with me her favorite night when a Christian worship band took requests. My sister and I are fans of Christian contemporary music mainly KLOVE radio and The Message on Sirius XM. As my sister threw out song requests, her fellow LDS sisters were confused as they were not familiar with this music nor these artists or songs. They were amazed that my sister knew all the words and stood with her fellow Christian sisters with arms raised to the ceiling while singing along. She said they looked a little unfamiliar and awkward but she fit right in! These are the fruits of stepping outside of our Mormon bubbles - a message I have shared over the last several years and will continue to share.

As we come together and have these experiences and conversations we can eliminate the awkwardness of our different religious cultures, traditions, and terminology. As explained so eloquently in Lynn's third video below, we have more in common than we realize. We believe in many of the same things, we just call it something different. As we tear down the walls of prejudice, misjudgment, misunderstanding, and old quarrels from the past, and we lose the mentality of us vs. them or whose right and whose wrong, and instead focus on our common denominator which is our love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and our desire to serve Him and be like Him, we will experience compassion and miracles on a level we have never experienced before! I believe this with all my heart, in Jesus' name amen.

Here are three videos that sum up everything about this blogpost as well as offer a little more introduction about Lynn and his background. The second video is powerful!

Did the Shift Finally Happen?

What a historical and incredible General conference! This week's video message is about the theme and message of conference. Did the Heavenly shift mentioned in last week's video message come to pass? Do we really understand the magnitude of living in the hour of 11:59 pm?
