Salvido Mundi & The Promised Land

A friend reached out to me and shared a chapter of a book she has been writing online called,

COVENANT PATTERNS - RECOGNIZING GOD’S PATTERNS IN THE PAST & PRESENT FOR A GLORIOUS FUTURE

This is the third chapter she has completed so far. I enjoyed it and wanted to share!

Because of Him!

I don’t know what it is about December and hospitals but for as long as I can remember they seem to go together. This week my grandma Wanda, mother-in-law, uncle, and cousin, have all been in the hospital. As I keep them in my thoughts and prayers, I feel such peace because of a baby that was born in Bethlehem over 2,000 years ago. That baby became not only my personal Savior, but the Savior of every person who had been and ever would be born. Because of him, we can have eternal life! Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!! ❤️ ❤️❤️.

Everything You Need to Know About "Calling and Election"

A friend of mine sent this to me a week ago, and it's been so refreshing. This is a term that gets thrown around a lot in "Last Days" groups and became a trigger word for me as I heard it so often spoken of by apostate leaders and organizations.

I was so happy to hear this podcast from the Church about a topic that so many revere. Enjoy!

Latest on the Shoud of Tourin!

I first referenced the Shroud of Tourin back in 2011 on this blogpost. A friend of mine wrote me yesterday and said, "I’ve always thought it’s interesting that there are no photos of either Christ nor Joseph Smith. Joseph Smith parallels Christ in so many ways to teach us of him. It’s an interesting detail they share. Looking at this article today though and the pictures, I realized the shroud is like a death mask - which is something we also have of Joseph Smith. Another neat little parallel."

Her thoughts reminded me of another post I wrote about Joseph Smith and his picture and death mask. Both of these posts I have written show historical imprints/photographs of Jesus and Joseph>

This recent news article that my friend shared about the shroud, reveals some interesting information I had not heard before. Just wanted to share!

How Deep is this Rabbit Hole?

Apostate groups are running rampant and taking so many off of the covenant path. Just how deep does this rabbit hole go? See what I uncovered.

"That World" Continued - A Deception of Titanic Proportions!

Last weekend the movie Titanic was on TV. It happened to be playing right at the climax of the movie when the ship hits the iceberg. The music alone is enough to draw you in, but the emotions from the characters in the film are equally profound. You just want to jump into the movie and warn everyone, "Hey, there's an iceberg ahead! You can't see it yet, but I promise it's there. Jut trust me and turn the ship! If you turn now, it could save your life!"

Earlier this year we had visited the Titanic Museum in Branson, Missouri, and it made quite the impression on our kids. So, in this moment we reminded the kids of our museum trip and they quickly glued their eyes to the screen. I continued about my cleaning. With every dish I washed, and every towel I folded I could hear the scene playing out in the background and I could see the images from the film in my mind. After all, I have seen it enough times (skipping the adult scene) that I can pretty much quote it word for word.

During the week as life got busy, I never gave another thought to that movie. That is until I began seeing reminders of it EVERYWHERE! It was in a news article that the Titanic II is under construction and expected to set sail in 2022, following the same design and course of the original ship. Clive Palmer, an Australian businessman and chairman of Blue Star Line said, "The ship will follow the original journey, carrying passengers from Southampton to New York," Palmer said in a statement last month. "But she will also circumnavigate the globe, inspiring and enchanting people while attracting unrivaled attention, intrigue and mystery in every port she visits."

Then, on Tuesday during an annual well-check appointment for my daughter, we looked up and there was a giant portrait of the Titanic hanging in the doctor's office. I thought that odd that we had just seen the movie, and there it was again; but apparently not odd enough to continue pondering it. Then today I was volunteering in my son's kindergarten class and the kids were making boats for a science project. The teacher alerted the class by saying, "boys and girls... I forgot to tell you that you need to give your boats a name!" Suddenly they all began to shout, "My boat is the Titanic!" There it was again.

It wasn't until I sat down to write this post, that I made the connection. As I typed the words, "tip of the iceberg", it all came together! Let me explain.

After the amazing response I've received over the last month in regards to exposing what I believe to be the greatest deception of this dispensation, I thought for sure I had said all that needed to be said, and shared all that could possibly be shared on this topic. Yes, I was truly thinking that I had finished what I felt compelled to do, and I could now move on to lighter and more pleasant topics; until...this week. As messages continue to pour in, I realize I have only exposed the "tip of the iceberg". I sounded an alarm, however, I feel inclined to not just point out the tip, but to expose the true size of this iceberg. I feel the need to warn the other ships, and to send in rescue boats to save the survivors who are left behind in the aftermath.

Truly, our Savior Jesus Christ is the rescue boat. He's alway there in the aftermath offering hope and offering life to those who are hanging on after their ship has gone down - having been let down, disappointed, and deceived by the ship's builder, captain, and crew. Waiting in the cold water, looking for that light in the dark. The truth is that light. Jesus is the truth. Jesus is that light.

They have come to the realization that the ship was not what it seemed. Though just like Clive Palmer said above, the Titanic inspires, enchants, brings mystery and intrigue...on April 15th 1912, it could not live up to its promise, and proved to lead to a dark, cold, and fatal destination.

And so it is with, "that world". As I described in recent video messages and blog posts, "that world" that encompasses mindfulness, universal life force energy philosophies, Christ consciousness, energy system balancing, and spiritual awakening, all under the umbrella of healing, wholeness, and prosperity - it inspires, enchants, is mysterious, and intriguing. It pulls us in. However, just like the Titanic, when we entertain this path, we'll soon find that instead of living up to its promises, it instead leads us to a dark, cold, and spiritually fatal destination. It is a deception of Titanic proportions!

If you are reading this blog for the first time, I highly recommend that you click on the links down at the bottom, where I first sounded the alarm on this deception last month. In what became the most controversial video/blogpost I have ever published, the rewards have far outweighed the opposition. The Adversity I faced was unlike anything I have ever experienced in my entire life, but the fruits of this labor exceeded my expectations in every way!

This deception is laced with counterfeit healing, prosperity, peace, and happiness. Though its tentacles have entangled a large proportion of members of the Church, it spreads across the globe into every nation, and every people. It has infiltrated all of Christianity, and its goal is to pull Christians away from the true Christ, and into the presence of a counterfeit Christ. Its not just any wolf in sheep's clothing - it's the leader of the pack!

Scriptures tell us that it's so deceptive, that the very elect will fall for it. It produces such amazing signs and wonders, that we will overlook the warning signs, while the Adversary carefully leads us to our spiritual downfall. Yet, because it promotes healing, spiritual awakening and advancement, we are blind to the bondage and see it as liberation.

As I have shared my own personal experiences and countless experiences of others, our stories have born witness that this great deception has led many into demonic strongholds, physical and emotional trials and challenges, spiritual blindness, apostasy, and even physical death. Yes, this path has taken lives! It's not a topic to be taken lightly. This wolf has made its way into our families, schools, and churches. It's seen as harmless and scientific - yet it is spiritual at its very core.

Many continue to reach out to me and share how these videos and blog posts have come just at the right timing. It was an answer to their prayer and a wakeup call. It was a witness to what they have been feeling and experiencing. Most of them being women, have made a complete change of course and recognized this deception for what it is. A few months ago they would have been angry and rejected this message, but the Lord times things just right! In fact, there were many who were angry by what I have shared, but later had a change of heart and messaged me to tell me about their wakeup call.

Next year 2020, is the year of God's perfect vision. It is also the 200 year anniversary of the the First Vision. And furthermore, it's also the 400 year anniversary of the Pilgrims landing at Plymouth. There are no coincidences. It is a pivotal year. I have felt this all year long, and President Nelson confirmed that in the recent general conference. He has asked us to spiritually prepare for April 2020 general conference as it will be historic and unlike any other. I don't believe it was a coincidence that I released this message the week prior to general conference. We need to clean out our closets, our homes, do a spiritual inventory, and prepare for what God has in store for next year. This deception is preventing so many from that preparation. We have become so immune to it, that it sounds ridiculous to most to consider that yoga, meditation (in its modern definition), or energy healing is spiritually dangerous.  However, before planning or attending your next yoga class Relief Society activity, you'll want to visit these links below and check out this article I recently wrote:

https://allstandtall.blogspot.com/2019/11/christ-centered-energy-healing-is-it.html

In this next link, https://youtu.be/orqrS4ULxuQ go to 2:33:29 in the video. Videos #127 and #128 on my channel follow this video and are filled with even more experiences and insight.

Here is a recent video that someone shared with me, that adds witness to all that I have shared. These Christian women used to be some of the biggest teachers and influencers of new age, energy work, yoga, etc. They have since renounced it all, and have made it a mission to expose the deception behind it all. A reminder, that you can't serve two masters. You cannot have a foot in both worlds, and stay standing. It's amazing that what they say, is almost exact word for word of the personal revelation I have received and been sharing. I love this!

Patience in a Virtue!

Join me as I shed light on the intense spiritual warfare that preceded my last video message. Patience was learned on all levels. Also, an in depth conversation into the books/scripture that President Nelson counseled the sisters to read. Just what treasures are buried in there?

An Interview You Need to See!

I came across this interview today. Steven Bancarz was at one time one of the most wealthy and successful New Age teachers in America. After a wakeup call, he renounced all New Age and energy healing and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. He's been on a mission ever since to expose the lies.

I have heard Steven Bancarz's testimony before and after watching this video, it was another witness to the things I have been sharing. Now it's important to know that Steven is not a fan of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and our theology, as most born again Christians are not, so keep that in mind if you choose to watch his other interviews and videos. However, when it comes to the deceptions of New Age philosophies and energy work, Steven is spot on! I realize my videos and articles are very long, so I thought I'd share a shorter, to-the-point video that explains part of what my message has been over the last few weeks. It has been humbling to hear from so many LDS people who are finding my videos and article, and are now giving up New Age and energy work. It makes my heart rejoice!

Christ Centered Energy Healing - Is it an Oxymoron?

Last week I published a three-part video about holding tight to the iron rod and not letting deception pull you off the covenant path. Over the past couple of months, I have experienced some very eye-opening revelations about deception on many levels, which I shared in the videos. One of the topics I mentioned, I referred to as “that world”, which was a broad term I coined to cover a variety of New Age and energy healing practices and teachings. This part of the video created a lot of great questions that I’d like to address in this blog post. The information I share in this article, came after much prayer and fasting. It truly felt like a download of information that just kept coming.

First, it’s important to say that if you are reading this article but have not watched the videos, I highly recommend that you watch the videos first. This article is a continuation of those videos, and due to time, I won’t be repeating what I have already shared in the videos, but rather adding to it. I address quite a bit of detail in the videos and share many personal experiences that add great value and witness to this message. As you watch the videos and read this article, please do not message me or post comments below with the intentions of debating. Truly, I have no desire to debate. I am simply sharing what the spirit has shown me. This article is not intended to express my own opinions but  rather answers that I received to earnest and sincere prayer. Prior to praying, I would not have written an article like this. My opinion was that though energy work is no longer for me, there is good and bad energy work and you just need to use discernment. After praying, I was guided to these thoughts, this information, and learned otherwise. If you do not like what you read, and do not agree with what is shared, that's truly okay but please move along. This article isn't for you. However, if you feel impressed to continue, and you choose to watch the videos and read the article in its entirety with an open mind and an open heart, I know you will be blessed for doing so. I encourage you to sincerely pray about what you read, and ask for yourself if it is true.

Here are the video links below. I also recommend you watch the videos posted under the references at the very bottom of this blog post article:

As I mentioned in my videos, I have a background in energy work. I used to be a Body Code practitioner. Though I worked for free and only on my close family and friends, I had many profound experiences that shaped my view of “that world” and has been a big witness to the truth I have recently unfolded. Kundalini Yoga, meditation, muscle testing, chakra balancing, zero-point energy, crystals & stones, and on and on…yes, I have experience in just about all of it! And yes, I was quick to always justify how energy work was not only scientific but a great way to use our spiritual gifts. I firmly believed that because I started and ended everything with prayer and asked for protection, that all my experiences were of the Lord and of the light. I had scripture verses, prophet quotes, research studies, news articles – you name it, all supporting my belief of why energy work was not only a good thing, but of the Lord. Today however, I take an opposite stance, not based on my own opinion but influenced by some powerful personal revelation I recently received from the Lord. There was no denying that this was truth, and I was to share it with any who will listen. So, where did my journey begin?

Several years ago, I was introduced into “that world” by fellow Latter-day Saint friends (women) whom I admired and trusted. It began with some simple health/wellness workshops, which led to some spiritual retreats, which led to some books, which led to conferences, which led to mentors, which led to me teaching classes and speaking at events, which led to me spending thousands of dollars over a period of a few years, which opened the door for so much more, which led me on a journey, which led me to concluding a couple of years ago that “that world” was no longer for me, which led to last month, which led to me obeying a powerful prompting to share what I have learned, which led to me making those videos, which have led to this article. Having caught you up to speed, let’s begin!

WHAT’S THE DRAW TO ENERGY WORK?

Some of the most common reasons I hear for people (including myself) who choose to venture into “that world” are: curiosity, spiritual boredom, a desire for healing, the desire for supernatural experiences, spiritual euphoria, specific “revelation” and clarity in regard to your purpose, mission, and future, a desire to learn and understand your spiritual gifts, a desire to feel valued and make a difference, a desire to gain secret knowledge and learn mysteries,  a desire to be with like-minded people who support what you are learning, and a desire to pierce the veil and have divine encounters. And let me tell you, those desires are pretty quickly satisfied when you have people continually telling you how important you are. They pick up on vibes and feelings about your future and your purpose and begin to stroke your ego. I can’t begin to tell you how many times myself as well as women I know, were told by many of the same spiritual mentors that we were “set apart, special, called of God, chosen, and reserved for this work”. Here are just a few examples of what I have been told:

“You are a holy Seraphim angel from God’s throne, and I am not worthy to be in your presence”

“You are one of four angels assigned over the gathering of the four corners of the earth”

“You are one of seven divine daughters of God who are the keepers of the seven keys that open the seven seals. You will soon gather and unite your keys together to bring in the Millennium”

“Here is your seer stone that will soon be activated to guide you through your last days mission.”

“You are a future leader of the Church and will be in a big position that women have not held before.”

“When times get bad, you will live on a ranch in the mountains with x, y, z families and you will unite stones together that represent your tribes. The uniting of these stones will bring about great miracles.”

“The time will come when you will need to learn Astral Projection. It’s part of you mission.”

“You have been shown a special formula that will heal the terrible disease spoken of in many last days prophecies. People will come from miles away to line up at your door and receive this special tincture. It will save thousands of lives. You are to begin planting and harvesting this plant and making tinctures”
(After being told this, I researched this plant and learned that it was highly toxic, it induced seizures and comas, and was even considered deadly. Therefore, I threw the seeds away).

As crazy as these “prophecies” sound, they are just a few of the many things I have been told over the years by very well-known energy healers, mentors, speakers, authors, leaders, and prominent Latter-day Saint men and women here in Utah. Though I never fully accepted these “revelations”, I kept them in a journal which has been a great reference and a witness to the message of my videos and this article.

Muscle Testing Techniques
The reason I share this, is to illustrate just how easy it is for people to get swept into “that world”. When you are continually being told how important you are, and how many missions you have, how special your gifts are, and how you are one of the “worthy ones” chosen to receive special knowledge and secret mysteries, it almost becomes like a drug. It’s never enough. One spiritual high leads to the next, which leads to the next, and soon you are seeking things way outside the bounds of spiritual safety. The gospel and the scriptures just aren’t enough anymore. You don’t want to read about angels in the scriptures, you want to converse with them yourself. You don’t want to hear what the Lord said to Moses or Nephi, you are more interested in hearing His audible voice speaking to you. In fact, why take the time to fast and pray and receive your answers in the scriptures and conference talks, when you can speak directly to someone who is channeling the Lord. Or, why wait on answers from the Lord, when you can have someone muscle test on your behalf and get instant answers for just about anything! Furthermore, why ask for a blessing or pray and wait on the Lord for a miracle, when you can pay an energy healer to tell you what the spiritual problems and solutions are? We can even go a step further in saying, why use the Atonement when you can pay an energy healer to muscle test what your sins and afflictions are and swipe a magnet down your back, thus freeing you from your pain and burdens? It’s so much faster and easier than waiting on the Lord and learning to grow your faith. In a world and generation where patience is a thing of the past, and we want answers, solutions, and blessings RIGHT NOW, energy healing and New Age practices seem to satisfy that urge.

In a desperate generation with such a demand for quick answers, solutions, and relief from pain, energy healing can become an income generating business for those who learn the craft. The stay-at-home-mom can experience financial freedom while feeling valued and needed for her time, insight, and spiritual gifts. Those who do energy work on the side, can experience extra financial benefit. And those, who take it a step further and create workshops, retreats, seminars, programs, books, etc. can receive quite the financial success, status, and loyal following of pupils and admirers.

The New Age doctrine of “Equal Energy Exchange” is often taught as reasoning for being able to charge money or require something of value in exchange for helping someone. With this doctrine, it’s not kosher to use your spiritual gifts and engage in spiritual healing without receiving something of value in return. The argument often implies that paying an energy healer money is no different than paying a doctor or a therapist money. Both are providing you with relief from your pain, both are using their time, skills, gifts and training to offer you a service – what is the difference? What is the big deal?

If that were the case, there would be no basis for this article. However, I have learned that energy healing and eastern medicinal practices are very much intertwined and are not the same as Western medicine – not even close. They are starkly different. Western doctors are trained to operate in the physical, while energy healers operate in the spiritual. Energy healing originates from eastern practices which originate from eastern spiritualism. It is important to understand that just because someone operates in the spiritual does not mean it is spiritually safe. Many Christian and Latter-day Saint energy healers firmly believe that because they include Jesus and prayer within their practice, they are operating in the “safe side” of energy work. They are the first to admit that there is a dark side to energy work so you must use discernment. That is like saying there is good witchcraft and bad witchcraft. If your intent is good and it is to help people, you are safe. Begin your witchcraft with a prayer and invite Jesus into your sessions and you will be safe. Sounds ridiculous right? It is no different with energy healing. We are never told that while participating in the temple, we must use discernment before entering because there are good ordinances and bad ordinances, good ordinance workers and bad ordinance workers, good temples and corrupt temples. Why is that? Because it is the Lord’s house. It is His work, operating in His holy priesthood. It is of Him. If there happens to be someone in the temple who truly shouldn’t be there, it will not stop the Lord’s work. The work is of Him. I do not believe that there is a counterfeit to the good side of energy work, I believe that energy work IS THE COUNTERFEIT!

On the flip side, many energy healers deny that they operate in the spiritual. Many Christian and Latter-day Saint energy healers do not like to mix Jesus or Christianity into their energy work. For some, it is a protection as to not blur the lines between the gospel/priesthood and their work. It helps them feel better about charging money and feeling as though they may be participating in priestcraft. So, they take Christ out of it, or believe He was never part of it to begin with. They believe that they only operate within scientific laws, and there is nothing spiritual about what they do. I used to believe that as well, but later in this article I will explain how that is part of the deception.

As for using energy healing to earn income, if we understood what source energy healing truly comes from, we would think twice about paying money or receiving money for this work. We would also have no interest in engaging in it for free. For those who believe it is safe and of the Lord, here is a big red flag I would like to suggest. We receive spiritual help and guidance from our bishops, stake presidents, patriarchs, etc. and it would be unheard of for them to charge us money or expect something of equal value in return for their time and service. As it was with Jesus when he was ministering on the earth. Never once did he ask for anything in return. Never once did he accept money or expect a meal or something of physical value in exchange for his time or healing. He operated 100% in the spiritual.

Now, if Jesus did not have a spiritual ministry and instead was a back surgeon working at a local hospital in Nazareth, that would have been his source of income and his profession. Just as President Nelson was a heart surgeon for his profession, and that income sustained his family. Those professions operate in the physical. The surgeons are not trying to heal their patient’s spiritual body. They are concerned with repairing the physical body.  Yes, some may begin their surgery with a prayer and ask for the Lord to intervene, but still it remains a physical operation. That is not the same as opening someone up in the spiritual and going in to “fix” what’s broken. That is the work of our Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus’ work was never physical, it has always been spiritual. Spiritual healing, often with physical manifestations. True healing of our spirit comes from Jesus Christ only. Satan can heal in the physical, the scriptures tell us this, but it is a counterfeit healing. In many remote places of the world, the people rely on village doctors such as a shaman, witchdoctor, or even a voodoo priest. A person may receive a repaired knee, but inside their spirit is still broken. Satan cannot heal their spirit. Many who experience counterfeit healing are caught up in the sensationalism of it, and this excitement and euphoria of seeing a “miracle” can be misinterpreted as spiritual healing.

Energy work is centered around using the “energy of the universe” to repair the inside and outside of a person. To repair their mind, body, and spirit. Yes, I said spirit. That makes it a spiritual work. Those energy workers who choose to believe it is just science, have been fooled. And those energy workers who choose to believe that the “energy of the universe” is the power of Jesus Christ, have been equally fooled. Satan does not have a physical body, he operates within the spiritual, often influencing the physical. Because energy work is a spiritual work, and the worker is looking to heal their client’s mind, body, AND spirit, it is not a valid argument that it is no different than a surgeon charging money to perform a surgery. The same goes for a therapist who is helping someone work through their mental health concerns. The focus is mental when it is on the mind, and physical when on the emotions. It may involve suggestions of changes in diet and exercise to help improve the client’s mental health as a doctor may suggest as well. It may involve medications that are working to restore balance in the mental, emotional, and physical. Whether you are pro-medication, or anti-medication, the point is these methods are not classified as spiritual work. Now, if you have a therapist who is focusing on healing your spirit, and charging you money to perform spiritual work, this moves into the same category as spiritualism, energy healing, or priest craft. It is one thing to have a therapist who shares your same religious beliefs and makes spiritual suggestions that might be helpful for you to implement on your own time, such as fasting, prayer, etc. and another thing for that therapist to put you in a state of meditation during your appointment and engage in work with your spirit. As soon as someone who is charging you money, engages in the spiritual realm for your “benefit” you have crossed over into one or all of the following; priest craft, spiritualism, New Age, and energy work.

As Latter-day Saints on the covenant path, one of the covenants we make with the Lord when we receive our temple endowments is to live the law of consecration. The Lord has called this law a celestial law, under which we give our time, talents, and possessions to build the Lord’s kingdom on the earth. This involves ministering by the Spirit. This spiritual work is not a means for our own personal gain. It is a manifestation of the second great commandment to love our neighbors as ourselves. We are to rely on our Savior Jesus Christ for spiritual healing which results in our physical healing. When we rely on the arm of flesh for our spiritual healing, we set men and women up as a light to get gain. We put our faith in their abilities and gifts. We become dependent on their craft or modality. If our fellow brothers and sisters want to help us on our spiritual journey and want to help us heal, let them do so without expectations of anything in return. Their assistance or service should point us to the Lord and His sacrifice. Their advice, counsel, and knowledge should center on the Atonement of Jesus Christ. They should encourage us to go to the Lord ourselves in humble prayer and seek forgiveness and healing. We should not be relying on others to be our middleman to the Savior and his healing. Nor paying them money to do so.

WHAT DOES TRUE HEALING LOOK LIKE?

From my experience, healing from the Lord is simple. Not only is it simple, but it’s free. With energy healing there are processes, steps, training, long sessions that can be physically exhausting and very expensive. Often times we find temporary relief, but the relief is never permanent. Sometimes we simply trade one problem for another. There seems to be a revolving door that continually sends us back for more energy work, more appointments. We are never fully satisfied, never fully healed.

With our Savior, His healing is lasting. We find peace. It is simple. We don’t need tutorials, experts, professionals, training courses, certifications, or objects such as crystals, magnets, geometric designs or pendants. We don’t need to chant certain words, wear certain colors, play certain beats or vibrations, or hold certain poses with our bodies. We simply call out His name and believe in His power. We ask and He delivers us. When it comes to spiritual healing, Christ is the only way. Satan can counterfeit healing in the physical, but he cannot heal our spirit. He can mimic peace and happiness, but it is not lasting. Christ in the only way.

I want to give a recent example of this. The other day my five-year-old son was awakened at 4:00 am with an upset stomach and vomiting. This lasted all day. He became weak, exhausted, and dehydrated from all the vomiting. Later that afternoon he broke out with a high fever. It lasted into the evening. He started to drift in and out of consciousness and as a mother it was difficult to watch. We had the phone number for the doctor pulled up, and we were getting ready to call. Had it been a couple years ago, I would have gone straight to my Body Code app for answers. I would have muscle tested the underlying root to his illness and used a magnet to cast it out of his mind, body, and spirit. I would have tried balancing his chakras and played healing frequencies on YouTube. I even might have given him some Tylenol to reduce the fever, thus prolonging it. All of those things would have taken much time, energy, and effort. However, I’m happy to share that I turned to something better. Instead of calling the doctor, I asked my husband to give him a blessing of healing. My husband consecrated some oil, anointed our son’s head, and laid hands upon him evoking the authority of Jesus Christ and pronounced a blessing of healing. As soon as he finished the blessing, the fever began to drop and within minutes it was gone. Suddenly our son was happy, silly, and full of energy. It wasn’t anything gradual, it was quick, almost instant! Suddenly he had an appetite and was running through the house with a smile. He went to bed and had a full night’s sleep without interruption.

Another experience I would like to share comes from my neighbor. He has suffered from back pain for years, however it grew increasingly more painful this year to where he couldn't stand for more than a minute. Someone suggested acupuncture as a treatment. He made an appointment and went in to have the acupuncture done, and it set him over the edge! It made the pain so bad that he couldn't even move. It triggered anxiety attacks and set him back for weeks. His wife said they wished they never would have had the acupuncture done. They greatly regretted it.

As they were telling me this in their home, I asked if I could pray for him. He gave me the specifics of what I could pray for. He asked me to pray that they could decide on the right doctor to perform the right surgery, and that he could get in for surgery quick. I went home that night and prayed for my neighbor and the next day I put his name in the temple. That day he and his wife were supposed to leave on a cruise, even though he'd be wheelchair bound. They were supposed to be gone for a week. I did not see them all week, so I figured they were on their cruise. A couple weeks later, I stopped by to bring a treat and see how they were doing. That's when I learned that the day I put his name in the temple, they found a doctor who could help him. He went right in for back surgery and ditched the cruise. After the surgery, his back pain was gone! He had been healed. I see him out walking every day now and enjoying life.

My family and I have experienced miracle after miracle over the past couple years by simply calling on the power of Jesus Christ and exercising our faith. Not just small miracles, but BIG miracles. Whether it be via prayer, fasting, or priesthood blessings, we have received a miracle every time! Our faith and testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ and his power has waxed strong each time and we have grown leaps and bounds in spirit, something that energy healing robbed us of, as we put our trust and faith in other sources.

It would do us much good to grow our faith in the Lord and wax strong in our confidence in His power. In the days that lie ahead, we cannot afford to rely on these other methods, programs, processes and modalities. We must be able to learn to call forth miracles from heaven in an instant by the power and authority of His name. Not only will we be greatly blessed for doing so, but our very lives may depend on it.

THE ORIGINS OF ENERGY HEALING

So, what is energy healing? It has been defined by one source as channeling “energy” as a means to treat symptoms and disease. I found it interesting that this definition does not speak of healing symptoms or disease but merely treating them.  Another definition I found says that energy healing is an ancient form of natural medicine that restores the balance and flow of energy throughout the body, healing mind, body, and spirit. This is done through opening and balancing the chakras. I will talk more about the chakras later in the article.  Energy medicine, energy work, energy therapy, energy healing, vibrational medicine, psychic healing, spiritual medicine and spiritual healing are some of the many different names that refer to channeling healing energy. There are also various schools of energy healing, including bio field energy healing, spiritual healing, contact healing, distant healing, Qi Do, therapeutic touch, Reiki, Qigong, and many others. https://www.asbestos.com/treatment/alternative/energy-therapies/

The Wikipedia distinctly differentiates spiritual healing from faith healing, saying they are not the same thing. It states that spiritual healing occurs largely in non-denominational and ecumenical contexts, in which practitioners do not see traditional religious faith as a prerequisite for effecting cures, whereas faith healing, by contrast, takes place within a traditional religious context. Therefore, faith in Jesus Christ is not required for spiritual healing. If not putting faith in Jesus Christ, just who are we putting faith in for this type of healing?

For a moment, let’s explore this question by discussing the origins of Reiki. Reiki is the practice of channeling energy from the universe into someone else to enhance their own life force energy. The client/patient lies on a table as the Reiki practitioner gently touches him/her. The practitioner places their palms on major organs and glands, and on the areas where the chakras are located. The chakras are part of Hindu belief that there are seven chakras, centers of psychic and spiritual energy, going from the base of the spine to the top of the head. Certain Hindu teachings claim that the kundalini, a snakelike energy force coiled in the base chakra, needs to rise to the topmost chakra as part of the spiritual enlightenment process. These practices and teachings are religious as they are the basis of the Hindu religion. Many Christians do not realize that when they engage in chakra opening and balancing in any form (yoga, meditation, crystals, chakra balancing oils, reiki, music etc.) they are engaging in the Hindu religion. They are trying to serve two masters. The origins of the chakras come from Hinduism, which I will talk about later on this article.

As the Reiki practitioner holds his/her hands over various areas of the body for several minutes, it is believed that the client/patient is drawing in whatever energy is needed from the universe, using the Reiki healer as the channel. The Reiki energy “enters the top of the practitioner’s head and exits through the hands,” after passing through the patient (William Collinge, M.P.H., PH.D., The American Holistic Health Association Complete Guide to Alternative Medicine [NY, NY: Warner Books, 1996], 285).

Mikao Usui
Reiki’s recent origins are in the 19th century when Mikao Usui, a Buddhist monk and teacher in Kyoto, Japan, searched for an understanding of healing. After a 21-day fast and retreat, “he welcomed the energy into himself,” the energy being what Usui thought was the healing power. (J. Gordon Melton, New Age Encyclopedia [Detroit: Gale Research Inc., 1990], 382). I think it’s important to point out here that this energy that he welcomed into himself was unknown, without a name. Red flag.

In order to practice Reiki, a person must be officially “attuned” through a particular ritual in which the teacher activates the universal energy within the student (Loecher, 268; Melton, 383). It is an energy that must be transferred from a person who already possesses it. This sounds similar to the way one receives the priesthood. It must be given by the laying on of hands by one who already has the priesthood. We know that Satan is the great counterfeiter, copying much of what God does.

There are three degrees of Reiki. This sounds just like the three degrees of glory, the glory being a state of God’s light or truth. Reiki is supposed to be the power of the universe or life force energy.  The only power of the universe that gives life, is the power of God. So, if you believe that Reiki life force energy is the power of God, then you believe that a Reiki Master has the authority to give that power of God to another. If you do not believe it is the same power as the power of God, than it must be the power of another? Whose power is it?

The first degree of Reiki requires four of these attunements, after which the student “can transmit healing energy by touching anything alive,” (Loecher, 269).Being initiated into the second degree requires the use of “sacred symbols” and teaches the student how to transmit energy over distance, as well as teaching the art of mental/emotional healing. According to Mary Ruth Van Landingham, Reiki Master Teacher, when using the symbols taught in the second degree, one is “actually changing the holographic memory within the matrix or soul of a person,” (“Terra Christa” Newsletter, Winter 2001 Workshop Schedule, Vienna, VA). To become a Reiki master/teacher, initiation into the 3rd degree is essential (Ibid; Melton, 383).

There is a false belief that Jesus practiced Reiki, or that Reiki is no different than the power that Jesus used to heal.  Jesus, however, did not need to be trained in healing techniques, and was not channeling a “universal energy”. He operated through the power and authority of God. There is power is in His name, and all life and matter responds to it. He is the Creator of this universe under the direction of God the Father. This is not a secret teaching, but a plain and simple truth written in the holy scriptures.

Jesus’ healing magnified the glory of God. Reiki masters and energy healers are not trained to glorify God, yet it is a spiritual healing. Jesus’ healing involved delivering people from sin and casting out demons. Sin can only be removed by the Atonement and sacrifice of Jesus Christ, not just by manipulating energy. Demons will only leave by the name and authority of Jesus Christ, not by a Reiki master or swipe of a magnet. This is why the only healing that is lasting, is healing through Jesus Christ. All other healing is counterfeit.

All energy healing techniques, such as Therapeutic Touch, Touch for Health, Polarity, Cleansing or Smoothing the Aura, and methods claiming to balance or unblock the chi or prana (a divine force believed to be taken in by the breath), such as Ayurveda, acupuncture, acupressure, shiatsu, chi kung (also spelled qi gong), and much of Traditional Chinese Medicine, are based on similar principles of the life force and manipulation of energy as Reiki is. These different techniques are the same in that they share the basic principles of asserting that healing comes through balancing, unblocking, manipulating and/or channeling an energy or universal life force (spiritual healing), which replaces the need for our Savior Jesus Christ and His Atonement.

ARE THE CHAKRAS REAL?

Isn’t it interesting that the one thing that ties energy healing, New Age, yoga, and eastern medicine together is their common practice of balancing the chakras?  Everything is centered on this balance of energy. That is the key, and what I call the biggest red flag. So, what are chakras?

Just about all modalities of energy healing can be traced back to non-Christian roots of Eastern cultures. These practices are based on balancing the chakra system. The chakra system originated in India between 1500 and 500 BC in the oldest text called the Vedas. The concept is found in the early traditions of Hinduism and is also practiced in Buddhism. How is it that these healing traditions and teachings of the east have made their way into western culture and are heavily accepted and practiced by Christians, yet are not taught in the Bible, Book of Mormon, or any other Christian text? If the chakras are the main element for spiritual and physical healing, isn’t it interesting that we are not taught this in our core doctrines?

I was recently asked if I thought that chakras are real? If you saw my video titled, “There is Power in the Name of Jesus” then you saw me share my experience with my son and the hoodie he innocently bought from the mall that had the image of a spinning portal on the back that read “the end”, and an image of a demon on the front over his heart. The minute I saw his hoodie, I knew what it was. I researched the clothing brand and learned they even refer to it as the “Spitfire Demon”. I told him my feelings about the hoodie, but he told me it was a brand that everyone is wearing at school. Within 24 hours of him wearing it, he became violently ill, turned pale, and passed out on the bathroom floor. It was a terrifying thing to witness and I knew it was because of this hoodie. When I shared this with him, he agreed and I took the hoodie out to the trash right as the garbage truck came. We prayed together in the name of Jesus, and casted out this demon, and closed whatever portal had been opened. Shortly after doing this his fever went away, his color came back, and he was back to being his healthy self.

When I think about chakras, I see spinning wheels of energy that look just like the spinning portal on my son’s hoodie. I truly believe that chakras are portals. The biggest clue is in the wording of “opening your chakras”, implying that these are doorways that must be opened. You must exercise your free will to open and access them, otherwise they remain closed. Doorways to what?  There are only two kinds of portals – heavenly portals and demonic portals. Now, it’s important to know that heavenly beings do not use demonic portals and demonic beings do not travel through heavenly portals. Energy healers will often tell you to use discernment when opening and balancing your chakras, thus implying that these portals can be accessed by either demonic or heavenly forces. This is not true. Again, there are two kinds of portals - heavenly, and demonic. Heavenly beings do not use demonic portals and demonic beings do not travel through heavenly portals. The temple is a good example of where heavenly portals open and operate, and a Ouija board is a great example of where  demonic portals open and operate. So, if chakras are portals, they are either demonic or heavenly – not both.

So, are chakras real? Let me put it this way. Anytime we invoke darkness and invite it in, a demonic portal is opened. If we participate in opening, activating, and then balancing chakras, they become real. Real portals that we have opened within ourselves. It is a lie that these doorways are naturally inside each of us. They are not there until we put them there or allow someone else to put them there. Satan is clever. In the Bible Dictionary under “Satan” it says that he is a worker of miracles, by which he deceives many upon the earth. He can cite scripture to make his point seem plausible. All of this is his scheme to make man miserable like himself. Scriptures tell us that because he and his pre-mortal angels have no physical body of flesh and bones, they often seek to possess the bodies of mortal beings. This possession can be evicted by the power of faith in Jesus Christ and the exercise of the holy priesthood. I’d like to add that Satan can create illusions that seem real. He can show us visions, create energy fields, manifest supernatural signs and wonders that would have us believe we have pierced the veil and are conversing with loved ones, guardian angels, and dear ancestors in need of our help. If he manifested in his true form and showed us the real darkness, we would have no interest in going down that path. He knows this. That is why he paints everything to look beautiful and heavenly, at least in the beginning.

So, are there any clues in the scriptures that reference this deception? In Luke 8:2 we read about Mary Magdalene, an influential woman from the town of Magdala who “had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities… out of whom went seven devils,”. I find it very interesting that we are told exactly how many devils were cast out of Mary. Did you know that Luke himself was a physician? Paul referred to him in a letter to the Colossians as the Greek word for ‘one who heals’. I think Luke can be considered as a credible source on the topic of healing. Now while authoring verse two, Luke could have just written “many devils”, but instead, he makes it a point to tells us there were seven. Why?

The Acts of Thomas
The Acts of Thomas is an early 3rd-century text considered to be New Testament Apocrypha. The author of this text is anonymous, and practiced gnosticism. Gnosticism holds the belief that the material world is created by an emanation or 'works' of a lower god (demiurge), trapping the divine spark within the human body. It teaches the following:

All matter is evil, and the non-material, spirit-realm is good.

There is an unknowable God, who gave rise to many lesser spirit beings called Aeons.
The creator of the (material) universe is not the supreme god, but an inferior spirit (the Demiurge).
Gnosticism does not deal with "sin", only ignorance.
To achieve salvation, one needs gnosis (knowledge).

In verse 27 of the Acts of Thomas, the following wedding prayer is recorded;

Come, thou holy name of the Christ that is above every name.

Come, thou power of the Most High, and the compassion that is perfect.

Come, gift (charism) of the Most High.

Come, compassionate mother.

Come, communion of the male.

Come, she that revealeth the hidden mysteries.

Come, mother of the seven houses, that thy rest may be in the eighth house.

Come, elder of the five members, mind, thought, reflection, consideration, reason; communicate with these young men.

Come, holy spirit, and cleanse their reins and their heart, and give them the added seal, in the name of the Father and Son and Holy Ghost.

Now, there are many pro-esoteric websites that have twisted this verse in order to support their claim that Jesus and the apostles practiced chakra balancing, and that Jesus was educated in India on the eastern arts of healing. Upon visiting these websites, here is a word for word cut and paste of how they have twisted this verse to support their philosophies. This is a clear example of how the Adversary twists scripture and words to promote his false teachings and doctrines, all over the internet. After first discovering this false passage on one of these websites, I took the time to go to the Acts of Thomas myself, and verify if this was true. As you can see, this passage has been changed and edited to sound as though it was something it is not.

“Come, thou holy name of Christ… Come, compassionate Mother. Come, she that revealeth the hidden mysteries. Come, Mother of the seven houses, that thy rest may be in the seventh house. … Come, Holy Spirit, and cleanse their reins and their heart, and give them the added seal”.

According to the Wikipedia, the Acts of Thomas should not be confused with the early "sayings" Gospel of Thomas. "Like other apocryphal acts combining popular legend and religious propaganda, the work attempts to entertain and instruct. It is a series of episodic Acts, that occurred during the evangelistic mission of Judas Thomas ("Judas the Twin") to India. According to this text, while in India, Thomas preached celibacy and that all should abstain from marriage. In fact, in one scene of this text, a couple is married, and Jesus miraculously appears to the bride in the bridal chamber. He speaks against copulating, even if it is for the purpose of reproduction. This indicates that Christians should not be concerned with reproduction. Clearly this doctrine does not align with the doctrine of the New Testament, nor the doctrine of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

In last week’s Come Follow Me lesson, we read as a family where Paul makes reference to this type of teaching. He says in 1 Timothy 4,

1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:

5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

7 But refuse profane and old wives’ fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.

The Essenes were a people dwelling principally in secluded settlements on the shores of the Dead Sea. They practiced an ascetic form of life, abstaining from marriage, wine, and animal food. They took no part in the temple worship, having priests and ministers of their own. It’s interesting that in this passage, Paul is describing the Latter-day apostasy which mirrors what was happening during the time of his own ministry. It’s very likely that Paul viewed the Essenes as a people who had apostatized from the Jewish faith, much like the Christians of the Latter-days would apostatize from the Christian faith – mixing and mingling practices and doctrines of the world into their beliefs.

The Essenes were known for their healing practices and were considered “therapists” in their day. You might call them the "energy healers" of their time. They lived in the Nazareth region, especially around the Quran area, and were known as the “Essaioi”, from the Aramaic Ysssyn meaning “therapists” or “doctors”.  The corresponding Greek word is Therapeutae, and we know them as the Essenes. The goal of the Essene teachings was to find the perfect harmony between the seven subtle vehicles of the body also known as the “chakras”. I’m sure the apostle Luke, a different kind of physician, was well aware of these practices and teachings among these other “physicians” where he lived and worked. Could it be that the young Mary Magdalene may have at one time sought out one of these Essene doctors for healing? As these therapists and doctors were prevalent in Israel, it is very likely that Mary may have sought them for treatment and healing, at which point they would have opened, activated, and aligned her chakras. It is likely that these activated chakras led to further illness, as in those days, “devils” was the word used to reference illness as it was taught that illness was caused by devils and unclean spirits. When Mary finally encountered Jesus’ ministry, those seven devils inside of her were cast out. I believe this is why Luke specified there were seven devils, so we would make the connection to these esoteric practices.

It is my belief that the seven chakras are operated and accessed by seven demons. A demon that oversees each portal. Afterall, we know that Satan counterfeits all the God does. In the book of Revelation we learn that God has seven angels assigned to blow the trump and open each of the seven seals. In the book of Enoch we read about seven angels who watch over the earth and preside over different responsibilities and assignments. The names of these angels are specified as well as their assignments. Many refer to these angels as the archangels. Could it be that Satan also has seven archangels who preside over specific assignments - the seven chakras?

Just as the Book of Enoch lists the names of the archangels and their assignments, Satan also lists the names of his seven angels and their assignments. Their Hindu names are, “Muladhara” (assigned over career, money, and belonging), “Swadhisthana” (assigned over sexual pleasure), “Manipura” (assigned over personal power and ability to channel), “Anahata” (assigned over “love”, relationships, and self-acceptance), “Vishuddha” (assign
ed over self-expression), “Ajna” (assigned over intuition, purpose, and life path), “Sahasrara” (assigned over connection to the “divine”).   By opening the chakras, we open those portals to those demonic angels, giving them direct access to us and legal authority to reside in us.

We are told in the scriptures that the seven angels sound the seven trumps. When the trumps are sounded, men who have been in a deep sleep on the earth are awakened. Isn’t it funny that Satan tells us the same thing? People who do not awake their seven chakras are asleep. Those who have opened their seven chakras (released Satan’s seven angels) are spiritually awake!

In Isaiah chapter 2, Isaiah sees a vision of the Last Days - our day that we live in. He is shown how traditions of the east have infiltrated the land and how the Lord rejects these practices.

6 - Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers(sorcerers) like the Philistines, and they please themselves(make covenants with) in the children of strangers (pagans/idol worshipers of false gods).

8 Their land also is full of idols; they worship(trust in the arm of flesh) the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:

The New Living translations reads,

6 - For the Lord has rejected his people, the decedents of Jacob, because they have filled their land with practices from the East and with sorcerers as the Philistines do. They have made alliances with pagans.

Isaiah is telling us (the saints of the latter-days), that we have filled our land with these sorceries and practices from the east, and the Lord rejects them. I believe 100% he is referring to New Age and energy healing. Isaiah sees that we make covenants with worshipers of false gods and put our trust in the arm of flesh. Just as explained with Reiki and yoga, to become a master you must be “attuned” or initiated into the degree or level though certain rituals. When a Reiki practitioner uses a Reiki symbol, “the Rei or God-Consciousness responds by changing the way the Reiki energy functions. This process operates under a divine covenant or sacred agreement between God and those who have Second Degree Reiki. Reiki symbols function as keys that open doors to higher levels of awareness and manifestation. If the Lord rejects these practices and refers to them as sorcery, then why are we participating in them? https://www.catholic.com/magazine/print-edition/the-dangers-of-reiki

In my video I reference scriptures about divination. When people think of divination, they tend to think of diving rods which are used to locate underground water. After my recent video mentioned divination, a firestorm of comments exploded on facebook on how finding water sources is not of the Adversary.

According to the dictionary, divination is the practice of seeking knowledge of the future or the unknown by supernatural means. Remember those Magic 8 balls back in the 80’s? You asked it a question and it responded with a yes, no, or maybe? That’s divination. Also, those folded paper fortune telling things we made as kids. You have someone pick a number, then you open and close it several ways, and repeat the process until you end up with some kind of fortune of your future. There was also that plastic red fish that was in every prize bucket. You hold the fish in your hand, ask a question, and the heat of your hand causes the fish to move its body in a certain way which give you a yes, no, or maybe. Any superstitious way to get yes or no answers about questions regarding the future is divination. As silly as this all sounds, it needs to be avoided. There are dark and deceiving spirits attached to these items and practices.

The Bible dictionary defines divination as any superstitious method of trying to discover the course of future events. These practices are condemned throughout scripture. In fact, according to a Wiccan high priestess, on a popular Wiccan YouTube channel she says, “Divination is a wonderful way for casting spells.”

In Ezekiel Chapter 13, the Lord refers to those who practice divination as false prophets, preaching lies and falsely claiming to know and speak the word of God. He says he is against them.

3 Thus saith the Lord God; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!

6 They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The Lord saith: and the Lord hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word.

7 Have ye not seen a vain vision, and have ye not spoken a lying divination, whereas ye say, The Lord saith it; albeit I have not spoken?

8 Therefore thus saith the Lord God; Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, saith the Lord God.

New Age practices have mingled into energy healing and the two often seem to go hand in hand these days. The Lord tells us He is against those who follow their own spirit, seek answers about the future, and make lying and false predictions. I think about many of those “prophecies” that I mentioned earlier which were spoken over me, and the people who spoke them over me. The Lord does not support that and therefore cannot be with these people as they are carrying out these practices. If the Lord’s spirit is not with them, then whose spirit is?

YOGA – SCIENCE OR DECEPTIVE SPIRITUALISM?

Sister Purvi of Martus Ministries was born in India, and raised in Hinduism. After nearly losing her life because of a yoga school centered on her Hindu religious practices, she was set free by the power of Jesus Christ and has since converted to Christianity. She has a ministry in which she shares the lies, deceptions, and danger of these Hindi rooted traditions and practices that make up New Age, and energy healing.

Sister Purvi references a book by Dave Hunt called “Occult Invasion: in which she quotes,  “India’s Vishva Hindu Parishad the world’s largest missionary organization launched an ambitious missionary effort in 1975 in India at the 2nd world congress on Hinduism attended by 60,000 delegates from around the world. One speaker said, ‘Our mission in the West has been
crowned with fantastic success. Hinduism is becoming the dominant world religion, the end of Christianity has come near.’”

Sister Purvi says about her own experience, “What I came to know is that the core of the whole thing revolves around deceit and lies both in the worldly material way and also in the most important spiritual way… For me, my ‘well-being’ was slowly degenerating while doing high level Isha Yoga programs in India ( I was practicing correctly as told to me by several instructors) to the point of a horrible condition… it was ONLY when I cried out to Jesus Christ asking forgiveness of my sins did my whole world, my perspective and everything as I knew it change.”

“In Isha Yoga ( as with many other yogic traditions) we are taught an invocation… Invocation is defined as the following in wikipedia:“An invocation (from the Latin verb invocare "to call on, invoke, to give") may take the form of: Supplication, prayer or spell. A form of possession. Command or conjuration. Self-identification with certain spirits...The word "possession" is used here in its neutral form to mean "a state (potentially psychological) in which an individual's normal personality is replaced by another".

“According to one renowned yoga training program, ‘There is a whole system established to create an energy invitation where certain types of beings are invited in the yogic tradition. Initially, you just learn the words and the method of it. As you learn to give yourself into the process, it can become a wonderful way to manifest something in your own house in such a big way on a daily basis. You can manifest something so powerful within yourself and in the spaces you live in, so that there you have constant company.’

So just who are these beings and what are these powers that are advancing one’s spiritual journey while altering consciousness and changing personalities in the process?

Sister Purvi says, “These invited spirits are demons that induce many experiences which are real, but they are very deceptive concerning the end result. Even if one feels good doing such practices, it does not mean it is good for you or coming from a good place. If a drug dealer gave you a drug and it felt good, it is still bad for your body and the dealer is still using you to make money. The good feeling is not proof that it is good. Satan is real. He is a liar and deceiver and so are all the spirits that are under him.”

She compares the “science of yoga” to the pharmaceutical industry and says, “It is actually an OCCULT science and a form of sorcery or witchcraft. It can be compared to taking a drug… "pharmakeus" which refers to "a drug, spell-giving potion, druggist, poisoner, by extension a magician or a sorcerer." A variation of this term is "pharmakon" (φάρμακον) a complex term meaning sacrament, remedy, poison, talisman, cosmetic, perfume or intoxicant. From this, the modern term "pharmacology" emerged.” (Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pharmakos). In the definition of sorcery we see: “(Spirituality, New Age, Astrology & Self-help / Alternative Belief Systems) the art, practices, or spells of magic, esp black magic, by which it is sought to harness occult forces or evil spirits in order to produce preternatural effects in the world.” or “the art, practices, or spells of a person who is supposed to exercise supernatural powers through the aid of evil spirits; black magic; witchery.” (Source: http://www.thefreedictionary.com/sorcery )

She says, “Those that do black magic gain strong euphoric feelings and powers just as some drugs may produce. In order to continue with the euphoria induced, the practices have to continue just like a drug.”  Accoring to one yoga guru’s own admission, ‘When you go to the doctor he gives you a tablet, which has some chemical composition. When this chemical composition does its work inside the body you become peaceful. Even though it may be for a short time, you become peaceful. So in a way experiencing peace and happiness depends on your chemical composition....Can we become peaceful chemically? True, that is what we are doing in terms of sadhana. With kriya yoga and hata yoga you are trying to change the chemistry so that you change...So change your chemistry, and then being peaceful would be your natural quality.’”

She continues, “Spirits entering the body will chemically alter the system (even creating feelings of peace as a drug would). This “peace” is then experientially felt and accredited to the action (in this case yogic practice) which elicited the entrance of the spirit. It is a false peace.”

The yoga guru named Sadhguru, whom Sister Purvi frequently mentions, she says, “his wife happened to pass away during a yoga meditation. She says he claims it was because his wife was not a “seasoned yogi”. He claims she intentionally left her body during enlightenment as she was not prepared to handle the intense amount of energy during the consecration process.”

Sister Purvi expands, “These are occult ceremonies which often involve sacrifices. There are supernatural powers at play, but they come from Satan. As I mentioned earlier Shiva worship is prevalent and undeniable within Isha Yoga. These “gods” are demonic beings. I do not believe the Satanic Bible as a source of truth by any means, however I would like to note that it is telling that even in the Satanic Bible by Anton Levay, the Satanist is encouraged to invoke the name of Shiva. Even the blatant Satanist refers to Shiva as a devil in the list of infernal names ( pg 32).”

“Earlier it was mentioned that Shiva is commonly known as ‘the destroyer’. Interestingly I have found this to be an absolutely accurate description. Jesus himself says, John 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. John 10:9-10 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly”.

“Demons demand blood offerings and it is common in the occult world. Shiva and Kali (another Hindu “deity”) have a strong connection. “The name Kali comes from kāla, which means black, time, death, lord of death, Shiva. Kali means 'the black one'. Since Shiva is called Kāla—the eternal time—Kālī, his consort, also means 'Time' or 'Death' (as in time has come)” ( Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kali ). An article from Velvet Rock magazine says, “ Kali, whose name means 'the black one,' is the Hindu goddess associated with time and change and is the deity Shiva’s bloodthirsty companion...Two hundred years ago, worshippers sacrificed a human boy every day at a Kali temple in Calcutta...And not long ago the police chief of Bihar, Umkant Sahay, had this to say about sacrifices for Kali: 'We have tried our best to curb human sacrifices, but what can an agency do when an entire village chooses a victim and cuts off his head with his parent’s consent? Human sacrifice under our law is treated as murder, but the killer – never found – is always the local high priest. At times the local policemen are reluctant to take action because of the inbred fear of the gods and goddesses.'... Kali is most often depicted with black skin and four arms, wielding weapons and severed limbs. She wears a necklace constructed of human skulls. A skirt of human limbs from those she has destroyed, hangs around her waist. Her long black tongue hangs out of her mouth, dripping with blood and she’s usually carrying a severed head in one of her four hands.”

"The Egyptians believed this snake/serpent goddess represented by the ureaus in the middle of their forehead to be a protective force. This same area in between the eyes as we see marked by the sun disk in the picture above with the eyes of Horus, is the same area commonly referred to in yoga as the “third eye” where the ajna chakra is located on the pineal gland. Concerning the pineal gland wikipedia states, “..a "mystery" gland with myth, superstition and occult theories surrounding its perceived functions..”
“The awakening of the kundalini and the opening of chakras especially the third eye or ajna/agna chakra have been known to go hand in hand in the Hindu world. Sadhguru says in a lecture titled, What is the third eye?, ‘so third eye is not a physical thing, it is just that if your energies reach a certain peak within you..you see everything from a completely different dimension..your perception has risen beyond the physical that is the third eye..why is it connected to a particular spot in your body, among the seven chakras the sixth dimension is called as agna..located slightly above where the eyebrows meet, there are three dimensions attached to it, these three dimensions are traditionally named after shiva, three different forms of Shiva..you call it God you call it kundalini you call it yoga you call it what you want...once your third eye opens..your perception is reason beyond the physical.” (Source: http://dotsub.com/view/ce205720-9928-41fb-b1d1- 38ed4464b3f2/viewTranscript/eng )

Sadhguru
“When asked what kundalini is Sadhguru once responded, “Kundalini is the plug point...once you are plugged in you can make the light happen...so if you are plugged in, you don't know how power is generated but you know what the power is, what it can do, and what you can make out of it; you are plugged into an endless source of power-that is kundalini...yoga is just the science of getting the plug properly in so that there is an uninterrupted source of power..”(Source: http://blog.ishafoundation.org/happenings/kundalini-plug-into-the-source-ofcreation/ ) In fact, Sadhguru goes as far as to say that kundalini is God! Note that he does not call it God per say because he says yoga looks at it as a “science” and not faith, however what is clearly being taught is that kundalini is the creator of the universe.”

“The devil is real. He is a deceitful liar and has been from the beginning. We saw earlier Genesis 3:4-5 “And the serpent said unto the woman ye shall surely not die. For God doth know that in the day ye eat therof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.”

Worshipping of the snake, is very common in Hinduism. This kundalini serpent is what gives one ultimate and endless power. In the Bible, the serpent represents Satan. His desire has always been to obtain the endless power that God has, by deceiving the sons and daughters of God. When we plug in to "universal life force energy" we are plugging into the power of the serpent!

Due to the Hindu roots of Yoga and New Age, many energy workers believe in reincarnation. They might call it something different, for example many Latter-day Saint energy healers refer to it as “multiple probations”, or “multiple mortalities”, but it is all the same. Though I never did believe or accept this theology no matter how many obscure quotes people referenced from church history, I saw many who did. After spending much time pondering and praying, the spirit confirmed to me that this was a false teaching, and I shared this in a past video message. This is just one of many false teachings that creep into energy work and darken the minds of the people.

I’d like to share two dangerous experiences with chakra balancing that I did not mention in my videos. The first experienced occurred about five years ago when I was interested in opening my third eye. I had read that cod oil was a widely used supplement for activating the pineal gland and opening the third eye chakra. I went on to Amazon and after reading several reviews, I selected a brand of cod oil and put in an order. A few days later my package arrived, and I was so excited. That Saturday evening, I took my first cod oil capsule. After reading experiences of people having incredible dreams and out of body experiences, I was excited to fall asleep. In the middle of the night however, I was awakened by an intense pain in my stomach. I ran to the bathroom and proceeded to throw up. This continued every twenty minutes and was followed by sharp stabbing pains all over my body. I broke out in a very high fever which was followed by extreme chills and shaking. I had food poisoning! The pills were rancid. I suffered all day, until I asked my husband to give me a priesthood blessing in which I finally felt relief. It was a lesson learned that I was not to mess around with opening the third eye. I later read many experiences online with cod oil, and people getting food poisoning. They learned the same lesson; it just wasn’t worth it.

Second experience happened earlier this year, and ended up being the final time I would mess around with chakras. A friend had suggested that I harness the power of a certain chakra in order to manipulate the timing of a natural female system in my body so that I could change the timing of it to my advantage. She said that as spirits having stewardship over our physical body, we can command our body at any time to do what we want, and it must obey. She was willing to show me how to do this, it was something she taught classes on. It would require me to spend many hours during the next 30 days, during certain breathing techniques while imagining the energy of that chakra swirling a certain direction and passing upward through all my other chakras. She said it always works well for her. So, I gave it a try over the next 30 days. Not only did it not work as intended, but the opposite happened. That system in my body was thrown out of whack and things became painful and very bothersome. Over the next several months this female system was completely out of whack and it was a constant reminder that this was not of the Lord. I was done with chakras and done with energy healing. I hadn’t done much with energy healing over the year prior, but this was the final straw. I knew that only the Lord could heal me. After much repentance and prayer, my system was restored back to its timely cycle. I was healed. Lesson learned.

To a hear a third experience, probably the most supernatural and eye opening, go to 2:33:29 in this video https://youtu.be/orqrS4ULxuQ Videos #127 and #128 on my channel follow this video and are filled with even more experiences and insight.

We need to be so careful with how society influences our children. Many school districts across the country are implementing yoga into the elementary schools, and teaching this in the classroom. My children's school district implements something called "mindlfulness", in which they teach relaxation techniques, breathing techniques, and quietness. There is such a fine line with teaching coping skills for anxiety and stress and New Age philosophies.

I remember in seventh grade, having a health teacher who was very into New Age and would do self-awareness exercises where she would turn out the lights and have us lay on the floor and become aware of every part of our body, relax it, and empty our minds. We were much happier doing this over school work, so we didn't complain. But as I look back at that, I now see what we were being groomed for these New Age teachings.  Satan is so clever.

CONCLUSION

As I have said in my videos, there are many things that the Lord has blessed us with on this earth that can help remedy our physical pain. I’m a fan of and so grateful for herbs, plants, fruits and vegetables, oils, minerals, clay, silver water and many other natural remedies the Lord has created. Holistic remedies, good nutrition and exercise are a wonderful way to find balance with our health.

When it comes to physical health we are blessed with nutrition, exercise, holistic remedies, and skilled doctors in many areas of expertise. When it comes to mental and emotional health we are blessed with counselors, doctors, and therapists who can help us work through our problems and learn helpful coping techniques. I believe 100% that trapped feelings and emotions contribute to our physical pain. Personally, I like to write down my negative feelings and emotions and give them to the Savior - something, a magnet won’t do. Physical health and nutrition also affect our mental and emotional health and vice versa. The same can be said for spiritual health. If our spirit is filled with darkness, it will manifest for us physically, mentally, and emotionally.

When it comes to spiritual health, we have our Savior Jesus Christ and his healing power and Atonement. He is the Master Healer and can bless us with healing miracles in all areas of our life – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Going to the Lord directly and ask for a healing miracle should be out first choice of action, before seeking out trained doctors and professionals. Many times, when we go to him first and exercise faith, we find that we end up not needing to go to doctors or therapists. We are healed! Other times, if healing doesn’t come quickly, there may be a wise purpose in our pursuing a doctor or therapist. It just might be part of our plan. Whether we are to meet someone through our experience, learn something, or influence someone, we can find peace in trusting the Lord’s timing and the outcome when we know that we went to God first and asked in faith.

When we put our faith in the Master Healer before all else, that’s when we experience true healing. If we put the focus on healing our spirit, we will see a ripple effect into our physical, mental, and emotional bodies. As I’ve said before, the physical is always a manifestation of what’s happening in the spiritual. Often, we neglect our spiritual nourishment and wounds, and put the focus on our physical, mental, or emotional nourishment and wounds. When it comes to spiritual healing, our Savior Jesus Christ is the only way. All other modalities, sources, or alternatives are simply a counterfeit. When we entertain them, we open ourselves up to the demonic and give the Adversary legal authority over our mind, body, and spirit. We can experience lasting physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual healing through the power of our Savior Jesus Christ, no money, magnets, crystals, or mantras needed!

More importantly, I believe that the New Age and energy work are part of the coming great deception that our prophets and apostles are warning us about. Those who have accepted it and participate in it have been groomed for this coming deception. In May 2020 Pope Francis will be entering into a covenant with leaders from several different religions to form what he is calling a "One World Religion". When we believe that we all worship the same god, we just call him a different name, we fall into this deception. When we believe that all can be healed through "universal life force energy" and we refer to our higher power as "the universe", we fall into this deception. The lines have become very gray, and those who find nothing wrong with New Age philosophies and energy work practices will have a difficult time discerning many of the deceptions leading up to this pinnacle in world history and prophecy, as well as the greater deceptions that Satan is unleashing. It's a matter of spiritual life and death, and it's my prayer that all who read this blog post, will take the time to treat it as an urgent topic to earnestly pray about and seek answers.
